Origin has stable production bases for corn, rice, and canola across major plant areas with over ten thousand hectares. One of our corn production bases in Gansu is known as the "Hybrid Corn Seed Production Kingdom" of China. We also established high quality hybrid rice production centers in Southern China, and have standard production bases for hybrid canola.
Origin built a new seed production center in Xinjiang province to produce, process, package, and sell high quality seed products for the domestic market. The state-of-the-art seed conditioning plant uses the most advanced technologies on par with major global seed companies and is one of the largest seed processing plants in China. The Xinjiang joint venture will expand Origin’s seed conditioning and production capacity and open up distribution channels in the northwest region. The facility launched in the fall of 2012. Xinjiang province possesses 17% of the total land acreage of mainland China with modern mechanization and advanced irrigation systems.
Origin has among the largest processing capacity and the most advanced equipments in China. In Linze, Beijing, Chengdu, Changchun, and Zhengzhou, we have processing facilities to dry, shell, clean, size, seed coating, and package seed products. State-of-the-art facilities and standardized quality control systems make Origin the leader of quality in China’s seed industry.
